Short Courses

Worldwide there is increasing awareness that knowledge is power and that people are an institutions greatest asset.

Institutions can gain a significant competitive edge by ensuring its people have the knowledge and skills they need to operate at the leading edge of their industry.

According to the latest World Bank figures, nearly 85% of Africa’s skilled human capital is now employed outside of Africa. The inevitable result of this is a serious shortage of skills in all African countries, including South Africa.

Monash University has an international reputation for excellence in both teaching and research. Over and above its diverse formal programme offerings, Monash South Africa seeks to improve the human condition through the enhancement and development of economically and socially relevant skills by means of tailor-made short courses and executive programmes in various areas and disciplines.

Monash South Africa has extensive experience in customising short courses to address the specific needs of institutions. The majority of our short courses are delivered in-house and customised according to specific institutional requirements.
